US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stopped in France for a few hours on his way back from Egypt last Thursday, 29th of September, and discussed the latest developments in the Middle East, especially the explosions in Lebanon, in a meeting with his European counterparts.
In addition to British Foreign Minister Blinken, David Lemmy, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, French Foreign Minister Stéphane Sjourn and General Political Director of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs Gunter Satter were present at this meeting held in Paris.
According to the US Secretary of State, the officials present at this meeting urged the parties involved in the Middle East to exercise restraint and prevent the escalation of tension in the region, especially in Lebanon.Invitation and also on continuing efforts to achieve called for a ceasefire in Gaza.
