Al-Qaeda attack in Mali leaves at least 70 dead
An al-Qaeda-affiliated group in Africa killed about 70 people in an attack on Bamako, the capital of Mali, this week.
The Malian government has not released an official death toll, but diplomatic and security sources in the region say about 70 people have died.
Al-Qaeda-affiliated JNIM militants attacked a police training center and an airfield in Bamako on Tuesday, then claimed responsibility for it.
