According to AFP, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has arrived in Cairo on his 10th trip to the Middle East since the start of the war in Gaza nearly a year ago.
Blinken is expected to meet with Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the leader of Egypt meet and hold a press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and it does not seem that Israel is one of the destinations of this regional tour of Blinken again.
US State Department spokeswoman said Blinken would meet with Egyptian officials on a number of issues, but the main agenda would be to try to reach a text proposal that would guarantee a ceasefire by simultaneously garnering the support of Israel and Hamas
