Russian news agency Sputnik quoted an informed Syrian source as saying that 250 Ukrainian soldiers had arrived in Syria’s Idlib province to train terrorists to build drones.
The parts of more than 250 UAVs have been transferred to Idlib on several occasions under the cover of spare parts and commercial civilian goods.
The Tahrir al-Sham terrorist group has also received the equipment needed to assemble these drone parts from the Ukrainian military.
The Ukrainian military is training the militias affiliated with the Islamic Party of Turkestan, an important military partner and ally of the Tahrir al-Sham group.
