Reuters news agency, citing a senior Venezuelan official, reported that 2 Spaniards, 3 Americans and a Czech citizen were arrested on charges of trying to destabilize Venezuela.
A spokesperson of the US State Department also confirmed that one out of three Americans is a member of this country’s military.
But he claimed that the US is not involved in any conspiracy to overthrow the government of Caracas.
