Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy head of the Russian Security Council, emphasized in a news conference the necessity of creating a protective belt on the border with Ukraine to prevent Ukrainian missiles from reaching Russia.
He said that the size of this defense belt should be proportional to the amount of weapons delivered to Kiev.
Medvedev explained that if the Westerners want to give long-range missiles to Ukraine, including cruise and ballistic missiles, then this belt should extend to Poland.
This Russian official emphasized that this is an important issue is that nothing should enter the territory of Russia.
