Georgette Gagnon was appointed as UNAMA’s political deputy

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has appointed Canadian Georges Gagnon as the political deputy of the Office of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA).

UN Secretary-General’s spokesman Stefan Dujarric said at a news conference that Ganion replaced Marcus Potzel of Germany.
