American officials: the possibility of weakening Hamas has decreased a lot

The “New York Times” newspaper on Thursday morning (15th of August) quoted American officials and wrote that the Zionist regime has failed to weaken Hamas.

These officials, who were not named, told the New York Times, “Israel has achieved everything it can at the military level in Gaza.

But the possibility of weakening Hamas has decreased further. The report further states: Israel tried to damage the Gaza tunnel network but failed to destroy it.

The tunnel network has proven to be bigger than Israel expected and an effective tool for Hamas.

The New York Times added: Pentagon officials believe that Israel has not yet proven its ability to secure the areas under its control in Gaza.

American officials told this newspaper: Gaza hostages cannot be taken by military means recovered .

Diplomacy is the only way of Israel that to take back hostages .
