Ministry of Refugees rejects recent UN report
The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates has strongly rejected a recent report by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) that eight million Afghans have migrated abroad since 2020.
The ministry says that since the Soviet occupation, so many Afghans have not migrated from Afghanistan, and that this is the first time in 40 years that 3.7 million Afghans have returned to the country in the past three years.
This ministry adds that some organizations publish false information about Afghanistan to attract the attention of international donors, which directly affects Afghans negatively.
