Amnesty International calls Bangladesh’s situation worrying
Amnesty International says it is deeply concerned about the continued protests and reports of the deaths of nearly 100 people, including 14 police officers, in Bangladesh.
In a statement of this organization published in X, it is stated that the government of Bangladesh is obliged to create a peaceful environment for peaceful gatherings and must take reasonable and proportionate measures to reduce violence in protests in order to protect the right to protest.
Amnesty International from law enforcement agencies this country asked to prevent more serious injuries and casualties with exercise restraint.
