In response to the Pentagon’s decision to deploy medium-range and short-range missiles on German soil from 2026, the Russian ambassador in Washington said: This American action is a serious mistake and a direct threat to international security and strategic stability.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov also said that Russia will respond militarily to the deployment of American long-range missiles in Germany.
