Mujahid: Thomas West’s travels are useless and direct communication with America is necessary

Maulvi Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, called the visits of Thomas West, the US special representative for Afghanistan, useless.

Mr. Mujahid added in an audio tape published by the National Radio and Television of Afghanistan that until the United States does not have a direct relationship with the Islamic Emirate, Thomas West’s clichéd and marginal trips will not cure the basic pain of Afghanistan.

He said that these trips are America’s plan and direct communication and solutions for Afghanistan Diplomacy is important.
