The Iraqi Al-Ahed network also claims, citing eyewitnesses, that the cause of the explosion in the Kalso military base in the north of Babil province was an airstrike.
PBS reported, quoting an American official, that the US military has no activity in the area where the explosion occurred in Babil province of Iraq.
At the same time, Secretary General of Sayyed al-Shahada Kendakhi warned that the perpetrators of the attack on Hashd al-Shaabi headquarters will be punished.
