The Economic Deputy of the Islamic Emirate approved the plan for the construction of the second section of the fourth section of the Herat-Khaf railway line.

This directorate said in a newsletter that the proposal for financing and procurement of the construction of this project has been approved by the Economic Vice President.

According to this directorate, the second part of this project is 47 km long and will be reconstructed from the robot-Parian to the Herat airport.

According to published information, the Herat-Khaf railway line will connect Afghanistan to the Iran railway line by rebuilding 226 km. 77 km of railway line has been built in Iran and 149 km in Afghanistan.

However, after coming to power in Afghanistan, the Taliban is trying to implement economic projects, including connecting Afghanistan through railways with neighboring countries and Central Asia.

During the last two years, most of the exports and imports have been carried out through several railway lines with neighboring countries and the region.
