Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has been returned to Adiala prison in Rawalpindi after being taken to the private Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad for medical examination.
A spokesman for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said that Imran Khan was transferred to the hospital on the orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and was transferred to prison after undergoing medical examinations.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan had previously ordered that Imran Khan be examined by a medical board to examine his health condition, especially his vision problems.
No further details have been released about Imran Khan’s test results and health condition.
