Netanyahu calls meeting with Trump “constructive” and emphasizes continued pressure on Iran

After meeting with US President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the meeting as “very positive” and claimed that the two sides share a common view on preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and other agreed-upon issues.

According to media reports, the meeting lasted about 90 minutes and the main focus of the talks was Iran. Netanyahu also stated that he was skeptical about reaching an agreement with Iran.

The Israeli Prime Minister further claimed that if Iran attacks Israel, it will face a “decisive response.”
