According to reports, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has departed for the United States via Canadian airspace despite an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court.
Netanyahu stated that the purpose of this trip is to “ensure the security of Israel’s power and future and expand the scope of peace in the region,” and said that he will discuss various issues, especially Iran, during his meeting with Donald Trump.
At the same time, the Israeli Channel 15 described the meeting as very important and expressed hope that it would pave the way for joint cooperation between the United States and Israel against Iran.
