Russia-Ukraine counterattacks target power infrastructure, killing 8 in Zapadnia

According to a report by Sputnik News Agency, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that its forces targeted and destroyed two power substations in the Chernihiv region of Ukraine, which the ministry said were in service with the Ukrainian army, using expensive “Seeker-4” drones.

The Russian Defense Ministry added that the attacks completely destroyed 110 and 40 kV power substations in the villages of Mena and Semenovka.

Meanwhile, Yevgeny Balitsky, the district governor of the Zaprozh region, announced that eight people, including two children, were killed and 14 others, including three children, were injured following a nighttime attack by Ukrainian forces on tourist centers in the region.
