A state of emergency has been declared in Essex, England, following a fire and explosion, and a number of residents have been evacuated from the area, according to reports.
Essex Fire and Rescue Service has announced that during the incident, chemical fertilizers in one of the sections exploded.
Eyewitnesses reported hearing a loud explosion and shaking houses within a mile radius. Images released showed a fireball and a large cloud of smoke in the sky at the scene of the incident.
The incident happened on South End Road between East Henningfield and Rottendon on Friday evening, and more than 100 firefighters were called to the scene to tackle the blaze.
