Reuters reported that escalating tensions in the Middle East and disruptions to oil supply routes have pushed the price of black gold up for the fifth consecutive day, reaching its highest level in more than a month.
According to the report, the price of Brent crude oil increased by $3.80 to $97.87 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil also increased by $2.80 to $89.63 per barrel.
