A US Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey aircraft caught fire during a training exercise at Mesa Gateway Airfield in Mesa, Arizona.
The incident occurred during a training operation, and rescue forces were dispatched to the scene to contain the fire.
American officials have announced that none of the aircrew or firefighters involved in the operation were injured in the incident.
