Intense clashes between Ansar Allah forces and elements affiliated with the Southern Transitional Council in Yemen
Field reports and local sources report heavy clashes between Yemeni army forces and popular committees with elements affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council in the west of Al-Dhale’a province in southern Yemen.
According to these reports, these clashes began in the late hours of last night and mainly involved the areas around Qataba and the Hajar front; local sources reported heavy exchange of fire and the use of artillery during these battles.
Elements affiliated with the Southern Transitional Council claimed to have repelled the attack. According to the group, four people were killed and 10 others were injured during the clashes.
