Brent oil price rises to $94 per barrel
The price of Brent crude oil has crossed $93 per barrel for the first time since June 11, reaching around $94.
The increase in oil prices has occurred at a time when regional tensions and continued US attacks on Iran have increased concerns about the state of energy supply in global markets.
At the same time, the US Secretary of State has spoken for the second day in a row of readiness for talks, a move that some sources have viewed as an attempt to prevent further increases in oil prices and reduce pressures on the energy market.
