In recent statements, US President Donald Trump criticized NATO’s stance towards Iran and claimed that Iran had targeted American commanders, including himself.
Trump said that the United States would prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and claimed that if Iran obtained such a weapon, it would use it.
He also stated that he has no desire to engage with Iran and that the decision to continue negotiations with Tehran is the responsibility of US representatives Steve Whittaker and Jared Kushner.
