In a message on the social network Truth, US President Donald Trump claimed that Iran must admit that it will never obtain nuclear weapons or bombs.
He also called for the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz for ships to pass in both directions without charging tolls, and claimed that naval mines in the area would be cleared or neutralized.
Trump claimed that ships that have been stopped in the Strait of Hormuz due to the naval blockade can return to their normal routes once these restrictions are lifted.
The US president also claimed that Iran’s enriched nuclear material would be collected and destroyed by the United States in coordination with Tehran and the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Trump emphasized that no financial exchanges would take place until further notice, adding that many other issues had been agreed upon.
He concluded by writing that he would enter a “war room” meeting to make a final decision on this possible understanding.
