Hakan Fidan: Netanyahu seeks enmity with Türkiye after Iran

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, in a statement regarding the war imposed by the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran, said that both the United States and Iran are sincere about the ceasefire and are aware of the need for it.

Fidan added that if an agreement is reached between the US and Iran, a ceasefire of another 45 to 60 days may be established.

He also said about the Strait of Hormuz: “What the whole world wants is for international traffic to be free and unhindered. Our position is that it should be opened peacefully. Intervening here with an international armed peacekeeping force has many problems.”

Regarding the Israeli regime’s actions in Syria, the Turkish Foreign Minister said that Israel is not doing any specific things against Syria due to the ongoing war in Iran, but that does not mean that it will not happen. It wants to do so when the time comes.

Fidan also added that after Iran, Israel cannot live without an enemy; we see that Netanyahu is seeking to declare Türkiye as a new enemy.
