Iranian media reported that Iran-US talks in Islamabad, Pakistan, will likely begin this afternoon, contrary to some initial announcements.
It seems that delegations from both sides will first meet separately with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, and then the main negotiations will begin.
The Iranian negotiating team met with the Pakistani army commander last night.
The Iranian delegation’s meeting with Shahbaz Sharif is also scheduled for this afternoon.
