Qalibaf in Islamabad: We have good intentions but no trust in

Upon arriving in Islamabad and responding to reporters about JD Vance’s statements, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the speaker of Iran’s Islamic Consultative Assembly, said: “Unfortunately, our experience in negotiating with the Americans has always been met with failure and breach of contract.”

He added that twice in less than a year, in the middle of negotiations and despite the Iranian side’s good intentions, they attacked us and committed numerous war crimes.

Qalibaf emphasized that we have good intentions, but we do not trust them. In the upcoming negotiations, if the American side is ready to make a real agreement and give the rights of the Iranian people, they will see our readiness to make an agreement as well.

The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament warned, “But if they want to use negotiations to carry out a fruitless show and deception operation, we are ready to realize our rights with faith in God and reliance on the strength of our nation.”

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi also emphasized that it is very simple: America must adhere to its commitments, otherwise it is over.

On the other hand, US President Donald Trump, in a post on the social network Truth Social, spoke of the world’s strongest reset before the start of negotiations.
