US President Donald Trump, releasing a video of the destruction of the B1 Bridge in Karaj, threatened that much tougher strikes against Iran were coming.
Trump: He said the largest bridge in Iran was destroyed and will never be usable again. This bridge, with a height of about 136 meters, was the tallest bridge in the Middle East.
He added that it is time for Iran to sign an agreement before it is too late. Iran must sign an agreement before there is no trace left of it being able to become a great country.
Trump claimed that more was coming. In response to this attack, the Iranian Foreign Minister wrote: Attacking civilian facilities, including unfinished bridges, will not force the Iranians to surrender.
He added that this action only shows the moral failure and collapse of the chaotic enemy; every bridge and building will be rebuilt stronger than before, but what will never be repaired is the damage to America’s reputation and standing.”
