Seven people were killed and 26 others injured after a gas cylinder exploded in a restaurant in Kazakhstan.
According to local media reports, the incident occurred in one of the cities in the country, and the explosion caused a massive fire and the collapse of part of the restaurant building.
The injured have been taken to local hospitals, some of whom are in critical condition.
Kazakh authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the gas leak explosion, whether it was a technical fault or other factors, and warnings have been issued to check the safety of gas cylinders in public places.
So far, no group or actor has claimed responsibility for the incident, and it appears to be an unintentional event.
