China’delivered “stealth fighter” radar YLC-8B to Iran

According to a report by the “Al-Dafah Al-Arabi” website, China has delivered the advanced YLC-8 radar to Iran; a radar known as a “stealth aircraft hunter” due to its anti-radar evasion capabilities and considered a serious threat to fifth-generation fighters such as the F-22 and F-35.

The most important features of this radar are:

Working in the low-frequency UHF band, which creates resonance in the fuselage of stealth aircraft, rendering their anti-radar coating ineffective.

Air target detection range up to 500 km and ballistic missile tracking range up to 700 km

The ability to direct defensive fire with high precision, unlike old radars that only detected.

Mobile and strategic design mounted on heavy trailers with a massive 140 square meter retractable antenna for quick relocation

Military experts believe that the delivery of this radar to Iran is one of the most important recent developments in the field of regional air defense and could severely weaken the air superiority of Western and Israeli stealth fighters against Iranian defense systems.
