Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that his country is seeking long-term security guarantees and considers the US offer of 15-year guarantees insufficient.
Zelensky stressed that Kiev wants security guarantees for 20 years or even more to ensure the country’s sustainable security.
He also stated that after a peace agreement is reached, the presence of foreign forces in Ukraine will be necessary to ensure the country’s stability and security.
