Video call between Molavi Amir Khan Mottaqi and Rashid Muradov, emphasizing the progress of TAPI railway and TAPI projects

Maulvi Amir Khan, Mottaki, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, held a video conversation with Rashid Murdov, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan.

In this call, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, the development of regional cooperation, and future plans between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan in the coming year.

The Afghan Foreign Minister, while positively assessing the progress of relations between the two countries, said that with the strengthening of meaningful relations between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and Turkmenistan, we are now witnessing the beginning of the practical work of the TAPI project on the Herat route and the railway and TAPI projects are on the verge of implementation and the relations between the two sides are developing.

Rashid Muradov, recalling the historical and friendly relations between the two countries, expressed his satisfaction with the expansion of relations at various levels and emphasized coordination in implementing joint economic projects, conducting reciprocal visits between officials, and holding upcoming programs.
