More than 3,000 Afghan migrants return from Iran and Pakistan in one day

The High Commission for Refugees announced on Saturday that 3,134 Afghan migrants were forcibly returned from Iran and Pakistan.

Hamdullah Fitrat, deputy spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, wrote in the daily report of the secretariat committees of the commission, which was published on page X, that the migrants included 581 families and were sent to the country through the ports of Islam Qala (Herat), Silk Bridge (Nimroz), Bahramcheh (Helmand), Spin Boundahar (Tonarkhar) and Togarhar. and.

According to this report, on the same day, another 660 families (3,218 people) were transferred to their original areas, 572 families received cash and non-cash assistance, and 511 telecommunication network SIM cards were also distributed among the refugees.

This is while on Friday, another 2,965 migrants were forcibly deported from Iran and Pakistan and returned to the country.
