Baku: Armenia started demarcating the border with Azerbaijan

The Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Azerbaijan announced today (Tuesday 23 April) that Armenia has started demarcating the border with the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Baghanis-Voskpar section of Tavush Province.

The statement of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Azerbaijan states: “The Baghanis-Voskpar road is closed to carry out demining in the adjacent territory and also to prevent citizens from entering the adjacent mined areas in order to ensure their safety.”

Tas news agency quoted the statement of the Ministry of Interior the Republic of Azerbaijan reported that the demarcation of the border in the Baghanis-Vuskpar sector is planned for today, Tuesday 23 April.

We also inform you about rumors It is not true that a part of the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia will be handed over to Azerbaijan.

This statement further added: “Emphasis :We note that no changes are planned in the contact line between Armenia and Azerbaijan for today, and after determining the border, the border forces of Armenia will be engaged in protecting the border line.
