Pakistan Defense Minister India may launch cross-border attack; Afghanistan has become a safe haven for terrorists

Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Mohammad Asif has warned that India may launch a cross-border attack against Pakistan and Islamabad cannot ignore the recent statements of the Indian army chief.

Speaking on Sama TV on Saturday evening, Asif claimed that Afghanistan had repeatedly carried out armed infiltration into Pakistani territory and India’s role in these movements was clearly visible.

He added that Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, China, and several other countries also want to stop these infiltrations.

Pakistan’s defense minister stressed that Afghanistan has become a safe haven for terrorist groups.

He said India did not want Pakistan-Afghanistan relations to improve, citing the possibility of simultaneous conflict on two fronts.

This is despite the fact that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has repeatedly categorically rejected all these accusations and emphasized that it will not allow any group to use Afghan soil against neighboring countries.
