Yamaha has unveiled the MOTOROID:A, an electric motorcycle concept that can turn 180 degrees while in motion.
This model is a continuation of the MOTOROiD2 project in 2023 and will be exhibited at the Japan Mobility 2025 exhibition from October 29 to November 9 at the Tokyo Big Sight Center.
Visitors to the exhibition can see the motorcycle’s flexible, arched frame, which connects the two body sections and allows the rear end to swing sideways while moving or stopping.
Like the previous model, this motorcycle returns to its original position without the rider’s intervention and even gets up on its own if it falls.
The artificial intelligence system is a key part of this device, which monitors the position, tilt angle, and environmental conditions such as the ground surface.
