Kabul residents protest against Pakistan’s recent attacks unitedly defend Afghanistan’s independence and territorial integrity

A number of Kabul residents held a protest rally on Monday to strongly condemn Pakistan’s recent attacks on the country’s territory, including the violation of Kabul’s airspace and the airstrikes on the chicken market in Barmal district of Paktika province on Thursday night.

The protesters warned that the people of Afghanistan will not bow to force and will unitedly defend the independence and territorial integrity of their country against any aggression.

In response to these attacks, the Islamic Emirate forces launched retaliatory attacks against Pakistani forces posts along the hypothetical Durand Line in Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul, Nangarhar, Paktia, Paktika and Khost provinces on Saturday night.

Mohammad Akbari, deputy head of the Afghan Shia Ulema Council, stated at the gathering that the Afghan people want peace and prosperity in the region and that the country’s policy is based on establishing friendly relations with its neighbors.

The rally demonstrated the determination of the Afghan people to defend national sovereignty and maintain unity against foreign threats.
