Iran calls for dialogue and restraint between Kabul and Islamabad to reduce tensions
Ismail Baghai, spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed concern over the recent developments between Afghanistan and Pakistan and emphasized the need for mutual respect for the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of both countries.
He called for restraint and the immediate start of dialogue between the parties to reduce tensions and resolve differences through diplomacy.
Baghaei stated that Iran considers maintaining peace and stability in the region a top priority and is ready to provide any assistance to reduce tensions between these two neighboring and Muslim countries.
