According to the Qatari newspaper Al-Arabi Al-Jadid, citing Egyptian officials, the United States has agreed to Israel’s plan to attack Rafah, where about 1.5 million Palestinian refugees have taken refuge, on the condition of not attacking Iran all-out.
While Israel is expected to respond to Iran’s attacks on April 13 with hundreds of kamikaze drones, ballistic and cruise missiles, there are new developments regarding the plan to attack Rafah, which has reportedly been postponed.
An anonymous Egyptian official said:
The American government has accepted the plan previously presented by the occupying government (Israel) regarding military operations in Rafah in exchange for not carrying out a large-scale attack against Iran.
Officials noted that the Egyptian government is also preparing to deal with the possible effects of the planned attack on Rafah.
It should be noted that Israeli political and military officials, especially Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, have repeatedly emphasized that Rafah in the south They will attack the Gaza Strip.
