Global Convoy of Endurance Global Fleet of Endurance Facts and figures from the largest naval mission to Gaza

The Global Endurance Flotilla, the largest civilian humanitarian flotilla to break the blockade of Gaza, is about to enter the dangerous waters near Gaza with impressive numbers that symbolize global solidarity.

According to official information from the Freedom of Shipping Coalition and reports from the organizers, the fleet includes 47 civilian ships carrying 497 participants from 48 countries.

Türkiye is the largest participant in the convoy with 56 volunteers and plays a key role in the maritime escort.

In contrast, the presence of the Middle East Arab world is surprisingly limited with only nine participants; no candidate from Egypt, whose ports could be important bases, is on the list of participants, indicating Cairo’s lack of interest or official restrictions on the initiative.

The largest number of participants came from Western Europe, where widespread anti-war protests in cities such as Barcelona, Rome and Athens have created a wave of solidarity.
