Elias Abu Safia, son of Dr. Hossam Abu Safia, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, reported on his father’s critical condition in Ofer Prison.
He announced that his father’s defense lawyer, after meeting with him, reported that Dr. Abu Safiya had lost more than 30 kilograms of weight and was in very difficult conditions.
According to Elias, the Zionist occupiers have deprived his father of sunlight. He has a skin disease (scabies) and is not allowed to bathe.
In addition, Dr. Abu Safiya is still suffering from 5 shrapnel wounds left in the bullet that hit him during the Israeli regime’s quadcopter drone attack on the Shafa Health Complex.
The occupiers have not taken him to a surgeon, which has led to serious complications.
