Israeli army begins evacuation of northern Gaza

distributing tents and items related to temporary shelters to residents of the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday and has implemented plans to transfer them to the south of the region.

Israel claims that this action is aimed at ensuring the safety of civilians in an area that is home to about 2.2 million people.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had previously announced his plan to completely take control of the Gaza Strip.

This plan, which Israeli officials say is being carried out to counter threats from the Islamic resistance movement Hamas, has met with widespread reactions.

Palestinian and UN officials have warned that the massive displacement could lead to a worsening of the humanitarian situation in Gaza, especially as the area’s infrastructure is severely damaged and access to humanitarian aid is limited.
