The end of the fighting in Sweida with the retreat of the Arab tribes

According to news sources, after a week of bloody fighting in the city of Sweida, relative peace has returned to the region with the complete withdrawal of Arab tribal forces from the city.

In an official statement, the Arab tribes announced that after talks with representatives of the Sweida tribes and in accordance with the ceasefire, they had withdrawn all their fighters from the city.

This decision was made with the aim of creating an opportunity for the country’s authorities to establish security and stability.

Sheikh Abdul Moneim Al-Nassif, head of the Syrian Council of Tribes and Clans, emphasized in the statement that any violation of the ceasefire agreement by rebel groups will be met with a decisive response from the tribes.

These developments promise a return to calm in Sweida after recent tensions.
