About two thousand Druze serving in the Israeli army and security forces have announced their readiness to fight alongside the Druze of Sweida in Syria, despite the ceasefire announcement.
This decision was made after Israeli Foreign Minister Ariel Katz stated: “We do not trust Abu Muhammad al-Julani Ahmed al-Sharaa.” He also warned that groups that target Druze today will attack Israel tomorrow.
It is worth noting that these developments are occurring at a time when tensions in the region continue to rise.
