Thomas Barak, the Donald Trump administration’s envoy for Syria and Lebanon, announced that, with the mediation of the United States, Mohammad Gulani and Benjamin Netanyahu have reached an agreement on a ceasefire in the Sweida region of Syria.
According to Barak, this agreement is supported by Türkiye, Jordan, and other neighboring countries of Syria.
He also called on all parties involved in Sweida to lay down their weapons and end the fighting.
This news was released while further details of the agreement and how it will be implemented have not yet been announced.
