Documents released by the US Army Corps of Engineers revealed that the United States is building infrastructure for the Israeli Air Force, including facilities for new refueling aircraft, combat helicopters, a commando headquarters for the Marines, and several other projects.
The cost of these projects, which are funded by US security aid to Tel Aviv, amounts to billions of shekels; according to these documents, about 20 projects with a total value of $1.5 billion are under implementation, some of which are of an unclear nature.
An invitation to contractors shows that construction plans include projects worth more than $250 million and future plans worth more than $1 billion.
Also in 2012, secret underground facilities were built in Tel Aviv and the Navatim base at huge expense.
These projects reflect the continued extensive US military support for the Zionist regime amidst regional tensions.
