The Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned the Israeli attacks on Iran in a statement

An emergency meeting of ambassadors of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was held in Geneva on Monday, June 16, 2025, at the request of Iran.

At this meeting, the majority of Islamic countries, including Turkey, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Indonesia, and the UAE, condemned Israel’s attack on Iran and targeting of nuclear facilities, and called for a serious response from the international community.

Iran’s Permanent Representative Ali Bahreini, presenting a report on the recent aggression of the Zionist regime against the country’s territory, called for international condemnation of this act, firm support from Islamic countries, and the convening of an extraordinary general meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

In this report, Mr. Bahraini considered the Israeli attacks of 12 of June a clear violation of the United Nations Charter and emphasized that these attacks targeted civilian infrastructure and residential areas and led to the martyrdom of dozens of women and children.
