The Islamic resistance movement Hamas issued a statement on Sunday 18th of May and announced that the construction of a new security wall by the Zionist regime on the eastern border with Jordan is a repetition of a failed project and cannot be an obstacle to the resistance of the Palestinian people.
In this statement, it is stated that the occupiers have tried to build security walls before, but these walls were not effective against the anger and persistence of the Palestinian nation and failed. The new wall will have a similar fate.
Hamas has emphasized that the approval of the Zionist regime’s cabinet to build this wall cannot protect them from the consequences of their increasing crimes against the people of the Palestinian land and holy places. Rather, these actions will only increase the will of the Palestinian nation to continue to resist and stand until the liberation of their land.
