The return of unrest following the sound of gunshots and bomb explosions in the Libyan capital
The capital of Libya is once again witnessing an increase in security tensions and armed conflicts between the forces affiliated to the national unity government and security agencies, including the judicial police and the deterrence force.
Al Jazeera’s reporter reported that the sound of shooting can be heard scattered in different areas of Tripoli and three areas of the city in the capital have suspended school exams due to this situation.
According to local sources, the forces of the national unity government are trying to take control of the prisons and security headquarters in the southern and central areas of Tripoli, and following this incident, the prisoners of “Al Jadideh” prison escaped by taking advantage of the conflict and insecurity in the city of Tripoli.
